Words: Planning a Course Together with a Huey the Hawk mascot
Now that the end-of-year craziness has subsided and summer break begun, we wanted to take a moment to spotlight a Junior High student who has worked tirelessly behind-the-scenes to make this year amazing for so many people. Reese Weber, this past school year’s Student Council President and daughter of Andrew & Kara Weber, was recognized by our state organization for all of her excellence in Student Council. She was nominated and awarded a spot on the IAJHSC Honor Roll of Outstanding Student Council Members. We could not be more proud of her leadership and passion and know that she will continue to soar at the high school! Congratulations, Reese!

It was a busy week for 6th grade at the Upper Elementary. Students walked to the Coffee Steamer in Forrest to share their personal narratives and enjoy a tasty beverage. Thank you Coffee Steamer for hosting! 6th grade families were also invited to the UE to check out the Science Fair. This was a great way to showcase the culmination of their experiments. Way to go 6th grade!
