Last week was Nursing Home Week. So students from PCE came to celebrate the residents at Fairview Haven while PCHS FCCLA assisted in the fun by handing out bubbles and cookies!

Upper Elementary students in Mrs. Pollard’s and Mrs. McBride’s classes read a biography of a heroic figure and participated in a Hero Meet & Greet. Parents and classmates learned so much by interviewing these historical greats!
Second graders at PCE enjoyed visiting Fugate Woods as a part of an Illinois Biodiversity Field Trip. This field trip was sponsored by a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, which was awarded to Carrie Small- Media Specialist.

PCE had a great turnout at our STEAM Night, Art Show, and EnVision Expo last night!
PCE celebrated our current ICE students Rayce Pekarovich and JC Spence this morning with cookie cake for their last day! Congratulations to all of the graduating seniors, especially those who have helped out at PCE this year!
This Sunday is Baccalaureate at 7:00pm in the High School Gym. Seniors please meet in the small gym at 6:45 in your gown with your light blue stoles. No caps. Hope to see you there.

Yesterday, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources visited the 7th grade math classes. The representative shared lots of info about the studies they do and the math involved. She also taught the students how to measure a tree for research, a skill they will use on their field trip next week.
