Third grade students at PCE participated in their yearly Muscle Kart Day in coordination with members of the Fairbury Speedway. We would like to thank Alan Dunahee for organizing high school students to come help and Matt Curl and Gunnar Sullivan for organizing racers and helpers to build our carts today. Our students enjoyed spending time with these positive role models!

The Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive place for families to stay while their child is receiving medical care. Since January, the PCJH Student Body has participated in a contest to collect pop-tabs. These pop-tabs were used as the "votes" for which staff member would be shaving creamed and confetti bombed at a whole school assembly. Mrs. Ropp was the winner with 23 pounds and 14.25 ounces. However, the Student Council got overzealous with their celebration and also included Mr. Pinkham (21 pounds and 1.44 ounces) and Mrs. Stadnik (14 pounds and 12.32 ounces) in their shenanigans! All in all, the Student Council will be taking 7 paper boxes filled with pop-tabs to the convention this year. Tabs from all the councils in Illinois will be gathered and collectively donated to Ronald McDonald House! Thank you to all who participated!
