Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Spencer Ray! Spencer is a 14-year-old 8th grader from Fairbury, and is the son of Eric and Tiffany Ray. Spencer was nominated by Coach Johnson, who wrote, "I choose Spencer Ray as the athlete of the week for 8th grade basketball because he was the leading scorer in two of our three tournament games this past week. He helped our team to a second place finish in the conference tournament. When Spencer goes out and lets the games come to him and doesn't force things he helps all of his teammates get better. It also helps us play better as a team." Spencer is also involved in FFA.

Today was arcade day at the Upper Elementary! Students set up their arcade games in the gym and had a chance to play other games that were created by their peers. Students spent several months in the engineering and design process to create these skill challenges. Special thanks to all the teachers for their schedule flexibility and to Mrs. Pick for providing this great learning opportunity!

Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Daniel Haley! Daniel is a 14-year-old 7th grader from Fairbury, and is the son of Valerie Haley. Daniel was nominated by Coach Cheek, who wrote, "Daniel has really progressed this season in his development in the 7th grade season. The way that he has carried himself in practice and in games has given the team a boost of energy, and has really allowed him to see his hard work come to fruition. It is my hope that he continues this growth and pushes himself to be his best each and every day. Daniel is a great young man that will continue to grow and do good things both on and off the court. It is a pleasure to give Daniel this recognition for Athlete of the Week."
