Prairie Central Upper Elementary
The Upper Elementary is located in Forrest, serves approximately 240 5th and 6th grade students from the Fairbury, Forrest, Chenoa and Chatsworth areas.
The Upper Elementary has six 5th grade and six 6th grade classrooms. Along with the school’s main office, there is a Media Center hosting one of two computer labs, a large gymnasium, cafeteria, music room, two art rooms, commons area and several other small instructional areas throughout the building.
The Upper Elementary was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School in 2010 by the United States Department of Education.

TGIF: Once a month (on a Friday), you can stay for an after-school party to play games, watch movies and eat snacks!
Accelerated Reader: Students meeting their AR goal are rewarded with a field trip in May.
Lockers: All students at the UE have a locker. This is so cool because you have a place to keep all your stuff!
